Dan has more than 35 years of experience in software application development and implementation services for electric/gas/water/wastewater utilities, facility & fleet management, manufacturing, insurance, telecommunication and military industries. His early years in the workforce were devoted to application development and data base administration. Since then Dan worked his way up through the ranks and for the past 18 years, his primary focus has been managing supply chain and asset management projects in the utility and military spaces. Just prior to joining Sheffield, Dan was responsible for overseeing several municipal and investor-owned/public electric utility asset management, mobile and customer information projects within Oracle’s Utility Global Business Unit.
Dan’s has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University. He has a level 5 (out of 6) project manager certification from Oracle’s project manager training program (PMI’s PMP Certification was equivalent to level 2). He has managed several projects over the years, in various verticals, with an excellent success ratio.
